She has conducted numerous workshops and trainings on varied topics to include; mentoring, domestic violence, volunteer training, grant writing, strategic planning, team building, program development, women’s empowerment, and at-risk youth, just to name a few.
Karen has served in a leadership capacity in various organizations and is a certified grant writer, a fellow with the Institute of Political Leadership
in North Carolina, and a licensed Evangelist. She holds an Associates degree in Business Administration from Inter-American University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a dual bachelor’s degree in History and Business Administration from Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo.
